This meaningful project combined architectural craftsmanship and community care to rejuvenate a trusted institution that has served East Los Angeles with compassion since 1969.
As part of the Deco Familia network—a family-owned group of funeral homes serving communities across California and Texas—East Olympic Funeral Home has long been recognized for its bilingual services, cultural sensitivity, and dedication to providing comfort, dignity, and personalized care to families in their most delicate moments.
The renovation encompassed both interior and exterior upgrades, featuring refreshed gathering spaces, detailed tilework, and thoughtfully designed drought-tolerant landscaping. Every design and construction decision was made with care, ensuring a calm, welcoming, and respectful atmosphere that continues the funeral home’s legacy
of service and healing.
